Acting Workshops for Adults (AWA) is an initiative following on from our Basic Acting Training for Adults (BATA) workshops run in the past. It is being run by the Market Harborough Drama Society and is for anyone aged 18 - 80!.
After the success of our previous sessions, the next one is planned for May and is open to everyone.
This Acting Workshop will be limited to a maximum of 14 actors and will be run by Jan Wilson. The workshop will focus on the plays of Shakespeare. Why do we still need to perform them? How can we "do" Shakespeare for a 21st Century audience when the language, style and conventions are for a 16th Century audience?
If this interests you then do book you place as they are only available on a first come first served basis.
We hope that you will use the skills you gain to join us on stage in future productions. We look forward to welcoming you along.
