The magnificent Racecourse grounds cover 220 acres of beautiful greenery. On the Racecourse 1 lap equates to 1.75 miles; the longest Flat race: 1.5 miles and the longest jump race: 3.6 miles! The course consists of 10 fences with 2 open ditches and 1 water jump.
Since July 2014 Leicester Racecourse has expanded with the 700sq metre event space; ‘The Kube.’ This spectacular space can hold up to 600 delegates cabaret style and a further 1000 theatre style. This venue is perfect for conferences, meetings, events, exhibitions, weddings and many more…
The KUBE is a blank canvas and can be tailored to each clients needs and is a dedicated event ‘space’ which benefits from free parking for up to 2000 vehicles and good transport links to Leicester City centre.
Leicester Racecourse is the perfect stage for every occasion.
There are several hospitality suites including the Nelson Suite, Club Suite, Executive boxes, Juliet box and Paddock Pavilion. Not only that but sponsorship packages are also available.
Leicester Racecourse has very recently modernised and rebranded the café which is located in the main Grandstand. The Café was built in 1997 along with the stand and has seen a number of external catering contractors trading from there, and now the racecourse has taken the all new ‘Punters Café in house serving delicious hot and cold rolls. The simple but yet tasty menu comprises of both hot and cold meat filled rolls, sausage rolls, chips and a selection of snacks. The meat is cooked to perfection by the Head Chef, and a different offering will be available each race day. Everything on offer is very reasonably priced with meal deals costing £6.50 which includes a meal, side and a drink. The major work was undertaken by local company JR Allen and the racecourse employed a number of local painters and cleaners to complete the works. Punters Package plus vouchers can be purchased for £25 which includes, entrance in to the course, a drink from the bar, and a meal from the Punters Café.
