Signing Off is a result of the determination of a friendly group of musicians and Ub40 fans to bring a fresh new tribute dedicated to replication of the live sound of their idols. The band was formed in 2014 and their debut gig was two years later in 2016.
Signing Off is renowned for its commitment to captivating audiences by showcasing Ub40'S authentic dub and reggae essence from their seminal debut album "Signing Off" (which inspired the band's name), all the way to their latest release, their twenty-first studio album, "Ub45". The band also draws in more casual fans with well-known tracks like Red Red Wine, Can't Help Falling In Love, and Kingston Town.
The groups striking resemblance to Ub40'S original dub and reggae sound, and their preference for material that only diehard fans would recognise, has led to praise from the band itself. We know the guys in signing off quite well, said guitarist Robin Campbell. I have known them for years. They are raving fans. We probably have more tribute bands than anyone going!
