When I ran the London Marathon in 2018, I held a charity all star brass band concert which featured musicians I had been lucky enough to play with during my brass banding career. This time round, I’ve decided to run it again, but the number of musicians I have played with is even greater, making the task of picking the band much harder.
I’m extremely looking forward to March 29th 2025, when St Dionysius' Church, Market Harborough will host another Marathon Brass concert, featuring current members of Black Dyke, Grimethorpe Colliery, Hepworth, Carlton Main Frickley Colliery, GUS and many others, including members of my family.
