A unique macrame wall-hanging is the perfect boho accessory for your home! Join tutor Bonita Keay for a relaxed one-off workshop where you will learn two macrame knots to create your very own semi-circle wall hanging to take home with you on the night.
Macrame is great for mindfulness and relaxation – perfect after a day at work - and requires just a pair of scissors and some cord.
In this workshop you will be provided with the skills you need to make your macrame wall hanging. All materials will be provided and you’ll learn enough to continue your own projects at home, including the Larks head knot, double hitch knot and how to add in new cord.
Tutor Bonita Keay is a passionate crafter and always says making is part of who she is! She started her handmade business journey in 2007 when her children were small and now sells regularly at craft fairs (including our Attenborough Arts Centre fairs). Bonita is also an experienced tutor, sharing her knowledge, skills and passion with adults and young people, inspiring creativity and wellbeing wherever she goes. She sources all materials ethically and sustainably, supporting other small businesses where possible.
All materials will be provided.
This three-hour workshop will start at 5:30pm and end at 8:30pm.
Participants must be aged 14+. Under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult at all times.
