Fused Glass Discovery Workshop

About

Fused Glass Discovery Workshop

Explore the techniques of glass fusing in this one-day fun workshop with glass artist and tutor, Katherine Wilson.

Over the course of the day you’ll produce two or three pieces including a coaster or tile, a light-catcher and/or a shaped piece like a bowl or freestanding curve.

This workshop is suitable for people new to the craft and those who have completed a previous course and want to develop their skills further and try out new techniques. It provides a great introduction to this fascinating craft - but be warned, it can be addictive!

Katherine has been a practicing glass designer/maker for 15 years and shares her passion for working with glass by delivering workshops at an introductory and more advanced level in glass fusing, copper foiling and traditional stained-glass panel making.

This one day workshop will start at 10:30am and end at 4:30pm, with a short break for lunch. Our café will be open or you are welcome to bring your own refreshments.

Please note - this workshop is running on two dates, so please ensure you book the date you require:

Saturday 1 March 2025

or

Friday 11 April 2025

All materials are included in the course fee.

Participants must be 16+. Under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult at all times.

Please ensure that you agree to our updatedTERMS & CONDITIONS before booking as courses/workshops are non-refundable in some circumstances.

We aim to make all our sessions as accessible as possible and carers/PAs are very welcome - just remember to book their free place when you book your session.
