Learn how to make beautiful embroidered folk art felt decorations in this relaxed one-day workshop.
Guided by our friendly expert tutor Bonita, spend a day creating bright felt birds, hearts, flowers or your own designs, embellished with folk-style embroidery. You’ll learn how to cut the shapes, sew, embroider, stuff your decorations with padding and hang.
Bonita will provide templates and demonstrate all the stitches needed. She will bring samples to inspire you as well as embroidery stitch sheets for you to take home.
This workshop is ideal for anyone who enjoys crafts, or those wanting to learn a new skill, anyone looking to be creative to enhance their wellbeing and/or those wanting to spend time with like-minded crafters!
All materials are provided.
This one-day workshop will start at 10.30am and finish at 4.30pm, with a short break for lunch. Our café will be open or you are welcome to bring your own refreshments.
