Marmalade sandwiches at the ready! On Saturday 8 March and Sunday 11 May, Fox & Edwards Events will be joined by Paddington™ at the Great Central Railway bringing lots of fun and excitement.
There will be steam train trips, the chance to see Paddington, and more. Start your visit at Quorn and Woodhouse station (LE12 8AG) where there is a large free car park.
The vintage steam train will be waiting to welcome you for a journey of approximately 70 minutes. This relaxed journey is approximately 16 miles in total with two short pauses at Leicester North and Loughborough Central stations in the middle of the trip.
Every child and infant will receive a Paddington book, gingerbread train biscuit, railway activity sheet and juice carton!
When you return, Paddington will be waiting for friendly waves and to see fans like you. Don’t forget to bring your camera to get some snaps!
Trains depart at 10am, 11.15am, 12.45pm and 2pm.
