Join us for a fantastic celebration of tradition and community at the May Day Festival on Saturday, 3rd of May 2025, held in Melton Mowbrat Market Place from 11:30am to 2:00pm!

Enjoy a vibrant and fun-filled day with activities for all ages:

* Traditional Maypole Dancing: Watch the beauty of classic Maypole dances or take part in a workshop to learn the steps!
* Maypole Dancing Workshops for Kids: Kids can join in and try their hand at this festive tradition!
* Flower Crown Making Workshop: Create your own stunning head-dress and celebrate the arrival of Spring.
* Morris Dancing: Enjoy the lively and energetic Morris dances performed by the talented Rutland Morris Dancers.
* Live Folk Bands: Relax and enjoy the tunes of local folk musicians as they perform throughout the event.
* Punch and Judy Show: A traditional and entertaining show that the kids will love!
