WORKSHOP 1:SCALE - 19 OCTOBER, 23 NOVEMBER, 14 DECEMBER & 25 JANUARY
Tim Fowler makes beautiful large-scale paintings that draw us in and invite us to contemplate colour, texture, form and meaning in this vibrant works of art. Help us create a large-scale installation inspired by the colour, layers and plants in Tim’s work.
WORKSHOP 2: COLOUR - 26 OCTOBER, 30 NOVEMBER & 11 JANUARY
Use all the colours to create your own botanical garden picture! Create your own painting to take home and keep.
WORKSHOP 3: PLANTS AS SELF PORTRAITS - 9 NOVEMBER, 7 DECEMBER & 18 JANUARY
Plants have been used by humans as food, shelter, clothing, and medicine forever. Tim is inspired by Caribbean plants and how they connect to his own heritage. What plants are special and are meaningful to you? How can we create a self-portrait using plants? Use collage, paint sticks and all the materials provided to create a botanical self portrait.
