Lachlan's Barn is a charming blend of rustic charm and modern comfort set within a beautifully converted farm building boasting open plan living and three en suite bedrooms.
The heart of the home is the open plan living area where original barn features like exposed wooden beams meet contemporary design elements. The space is light and airy with a vaulted ceiling and a large barn window that floods the room with natural sunlight, offering lovely views of the garden. The contemporary kitchen is a highlight, featuring sleek cabinetry and a large island perfect for creating memorable meals or just sitting on the bar stools and giving helpful instructions to the chef. The open plan layout makes Lachlan's Barn an ideal setting for social gatherings of family and friends.
The barn boasts three double bedrooms, each with its own en suite bathroom or shower-room for privacy and convenience. One bedroom is located on the ground floor, making it accessible for guests who prefer not to use the stairs which lead up to the glass mezzanine where you will find two further bedrooms with soft cosy bedding and tasteful decor.
Outside, the garden is a designed for relaxation and enjoyment. A barbecue fire-pit area offers the perfect setting for outdoor dining and evening conversations under the stars. For those looking to unwind, the hot tub provides a luxurious touch, ideal for soaking after a day exploring. The kitchen garden is another feature, located a short distance from the cottages it provides fresh seasonal produce for you to use in your culinary creations. There is also a shared games-room with table football, pool table and digital darts, and a room for quiet contemplation with lots of books and games. Perfect for family fun or competition on rainy days and being dog-friendly your four-legged friend can join you on your countryside escape. Lachlan's Barn is situated close to fantastic road links and some background noise may be heard. It is possible to integrate this lovely accommodation with a range of two and three bedroom lovingly renovated old farm buildings, Coach House (5555), The Old Workshop (5556), Caigemdar (5557) and Fisherman's Den (5558).
Guests have the option to indulge in the fabulous on-site spa facilities at the wellness centre, including Himalayan salt room, steam room, Swedish sauna, infrared dry sauna, plunge pool, ice machine, showers and changing rooms. Bookings can be made directly with the retreat manager during your stay (at cost) and subject to availability.
