Surrounded by pretty woodland, with a gorgeous hot tub and private garden, Fisherman’s Den is a delightful retreat for two guests, or a solo escape where your dog is welcome to join you.
One of a collection of sympathetically restored farm buildings at Home Farm Retreat, this charming retreat is located in the pretty village of Cotesbach and within easy reach of the delights of Leicestershire.
The living space is beautifully designed with a contemporary kitchen, breakfast island and a table for two under a sloping ceiling. The sitting area has a cosy sofa, ideal for relaxing in front of the Smart TV after a busy day exploring. Upstairs you will find two charming single bedrooms, both with stylish en suite stylish shower rooms. The bedrooms have limited head room due to sloping ceilings and beams in the shower-rooms.
Accessed from the side of the cottage, the tranquil garden is perfect for relaxing, either in the bubbling hot tub or cooking around the fire pit. You are welcome to forage in the raised bed garden for seasonable vegetables and herbs and there is also a small fishing pond, please bring your own rods. The shared games room is yours to enjoy with other guests where you will find a pool table, table football and darts, plus a quiet area with a selection of books and and games to enjoy. The pretty woodland grounds cover 30 acres which you are free to explore during your stay. If you fancy a spot of indulgence, the on-site spa in the wellness centre has a Himalayan salt room, steam room, Swedish sauna, infrared dry sauna, plunge pool, ice machine, showers and changing rooms. Bookings for these facilities can be made during your stay with the retreat manager for an additional cost, subject to availability.
