Caigemdar is a charming, beautifully restored farm dwelling; one of a collection of properties situated around a gravelled courtyard and located close to the village of Shawell, perfect for a relaxing break or exploring the delights of rural Leicestershire.
With 30 acres of delightful woodland to explore, a private hot tub and fire-pit barbecue, shared games-room, fishing pond and spa facilities, welcome to your rural idyll where you can bring your four-legged friend on holiday with you.
The cottage is elegantly furnished with comfort in mind. All on one level, this is contemporary living at its best! The living space perfectly combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas, ideal for socialising. The kitchen has all the equipment you’ll need to cook a holiday meal, and you can even forage the communal raised beds for the freshest of seasonal vegetables and herbs during your stay. The dining table provides the ideal place to chat about the adventures of the day and the sitting area has a comfy sofa where you can snuggle up and catch the latest movie on the Smart TV. The two double bedrooms have the luxury of en suite shower rooms, so no queue for the facilities here!
Step outside into the lovely garden and you will discover all you need for a day of relaxing; a large, grassed lawn (perfect for the children and family dog to let off steam) bubbling hot tub, and fire-pit barbecue. Shared facilities include a fishing pond (please bring your own rods), a games room with pool table, table football and digital dart board, plus a separate reading room with a good supply of games and books to enjoy. If guests would like to join you, there are additional two and three bedroomed cottages to choose from including Fisherman's Den (5558) Lachlan's Barn( 5554) Coach House (5555) and The Old Workshop (5556)
Should guests wish to take advantage of the on-site wellness centre, facilities include a Himalayan salt room, Swedish sauna, infrared dry sauna, plunge pool, ice machine, showers and changing rooms. Guests are welcome to book direct with the retreat manager during their stay at an additional cost, subject to availability.
