We launched the Ice Skate Leicester Real Ice Rink on Wednesday 4 December with a host of specially invited guests, the Mayor of Leicester, members of the media and a singing drag queen on a seal! Not necessarily in that order!
The night went off without a hitch with guests praising the brand new layout which gives even more room on the ice, the fantastic light show, the 20,000 LED lights under the ice itself and the food and drink offer outside which includes a two-storey bar, food outlet and marshmallow roasting pits!
We’ve already seen some fantastic coverage from a range of media outlets, and we’ve put together some of the highlights and guest posts below! But first you can look at our summary of the event right here.
