The finalists for this year’s Leicestershire Promotions Tourism and Hospitality Awards have been announced!

Now in their 14th year, the awards - which are organised by Leicestershire Promotions - are the regional heat of the national Visit England Awards for Excellence. 

The winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony at the Athena in Leicester on 4 December 2024, and 13 of the winners will automatically proceed to the national awards.  

This year sees all the usual awards you would expect, plus some new categories including one created and judged entirely by tourism students at Leicester College. The ‘Best employer for career starters’ award recognised tourism and hospitality businesses who embrace young people as part of their team. 

You can also cast your vote now for the ‘Best Day Out’ award, which is decided by public vote. 

The awards are sponsored by Pear Communications, Novotel Leicester, St Martin’s Lodge and supported by Visit Leicester.
