Home > Food & Drink > Afternoon Tea at The City Rooms
The City Rooms is a historic Georgian property built in 1800.
It was initially intended to be Leicester’s first hotel before the developer ran out of money! Today, it hosts several delicious afternoon tea events throughout the year in its magnificent ballroom. It’s a stunning place to eat smoked salmon and dill crème fraiche sandwiches, delicate macaroons and delicious passionfruit pavlova.
