A charming gastropub, The Joiners in south Leicestershire is an attractive, whitewashed old building with a good reputation for its cooking. Inside, the flagstone floor, exposed oak beams and church-pew benches provide a lovely backdrop for the well-cooked, tasty food, including the pub’s own venison sausages.
