A fun event for families to explore nature and mini beasts and unleash creativity!

Multiple free activities, with a small charge for some activities (cash only).

Activities include:

Hive Demo - Come and chat with a beekeeper and learn about the fascinating world of honeybees! Discover the intricate world of these remarkable pollinators and explore how they collaborate to produce the delightful treat that is honey.

Make your own Wildflower field - Have fun and make your own unique cyanotype art pieces.

Our workshop will guide you through the simple yet fascinating cyanotype printing process, using pressed flowers and UV light to produce stunning prints. Not only will you learn how to create beautiful art, but you'll also have the chance to discover and appreciate the diverse range of plants growing in Great Britain. £2.50 per person.

Wings of Wonder - Unleash your creativity, fly into the magical world of butterflies and moths, and create your own butterfly or moth wings from recycled paper.

Face Painting - Bring a little buzz to your day with our bee face painting! Whether you're young or old, it's the perfect way to show your love for these amazing insects. £2.50 per person.

Meet Childrens book author Fiona Spence Arnold and Illustrator Keith Turner and hear readings from the book "Rhamni Finds Her Wings".
