Funknation returns with their annual all day event at the donkey on August bank holiday Sunday the 25th 2 pm till late.
the evening gig with the Crowd Company starts at 7 pm
As always, we start off in the garden in the afternoon weather permitting with a local Band and host of local DJs. This ticket will get you into the evening gig for the Crowd Company

A modern take on vintage 70s soul funk, Crowd Company, is one of the UK's top original soul funk bands. The 8-piece band is known for rich songwriting combined with catchy hooks, in-the-pocket grooves, and virtuoso musicianship and features three outstanding soulful vocalists.
Crowd Company's fourth and highly acclaimed latest album 'Lowdown' was recorded in Millers Falls, USA, produced by Alan Evans of Soulive and released on the Vintage League Music label. It featured heavily on the BBC Radio 6 Craig Charles Show and was one of Craig's 'Top Picks of the Year'.
They recently released 'You Ain't Ready, a single remixed by DJ Smoove (Smoove & Turrell) to great acclaim.
Crowd Company are known for dynamic live performances. As well as frequently selling out venues the band have also toured with the likes of Soulive, The Meters' George Porter Jr, Daptone Records' Saun & Starr, and The Monophonics.
