What We Do

We are a public sector organisation, supported by Leicester City Council and Leicestershire County Council, responsible for delivering Inward Investment, Place Marketing and Strategic Tourism development across Leicester & Leicestershire.

Strategic Tourism

Leisure and business tourism development is guided by the Leicester Leicestershire Tourism Growth Plan, a five year plan to develop the local visitor economy. Our work is guided by the Tourism Advisory Board, a body of key local stakeholders from the public and private sectors that champion the interests of the tourism and hospitality sector.

Place Marketing

Working alongside teams from the city and the county, the Place Marketing team promote Leicester and Leicestershire as a leisure tourism destination through multi-channel place marketing campaigns. We manage the Visit Leicester website and social media channels.
