Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to reconnect with an old friend you haven’t spoken to in a while, show a new person in your life that their friendship matters to you, or grab a group of your long-time besties and make new memories together!
If your group of mates are always talking about the latest game, this one’s for you. Leicester Tigers take on local rivals Northampton Saints, a match-up that any sports fan will be keen to watch! Hosted at Welford Road, the Tigers have enjoyed an incredible first half of the season and currently sit top of the Gallagher English Premiership, competing for an 11th title. The stadium itself is a must-see attraction, from the towering 10,000 seat North Stand to the long-standing terrace, offering one of the best atmospheres in English Rugby.
What’s Galentine’s Day, you ask? It’s only the best day of the year!
If you’re not a fan of US comedy Parks & Recreation you might not be familiar with the concept, so let us introduce you to Galentine’s – a day dedicated to celebrating female friendship in all its forms.
And what better way to enjoy the company of your gal pals than brunch? Lane 7’s Galentine’s Bottomless Brunch offers 90 minutes of bottomless drinks and a killer foodie line-up from their selection of street food vendors – so there will be something for everyone’s tastes! They have everything you need for a girl’s day out to remember.

Valentine’s Day falls during the brilliant Leicester Comedy Festival so we couldn’t resist recommending a show or two – what better way to spend time with your mates than sharing some giggles?! A Comedy Tapas returns to the 2022 Comedy Festival – and it was a sell out in previous years, so be sure to book in advance. Expect a fast-moving show with a brilliant array of short, sharp sets from a variety of acts. We are sure you will love them all but if you don’t, the night isn’t a flop because there will be another act in three minutes! Even better, this show is hosted at the fantastic Knight & Garter so you can combine your comedy with a night of dinner and drinks.
If you and your BFFs love a night out on the town, why not be creative this V-Day and learn the tricks of the trade for yourselves at a cocktail making class! There are plenty of fun, interactive experiences available in the city where you can mix up your favourite drinks for each other and then enjoy them together.
