About

Learn about Target Shooting

Shooting is an Olympic sport and hitting a target requires strong focus and  lots of self-discipline. Air rifles and pistols are popular ways to enter the sport and what better way to develop the knowledge and skill to use a shotgun or firearm safely than on a taster course.

Field Sport UK offer a great package of speed shooting, moving target shooting and pistol shooting to give you a wide range of experiences, all under the experienced eye of  trained instructors. Start with the sharpshooter, a speed shooting target system with digital speed clock that will certainly bring out your competitive side. How fast can you knock down the targets? Next, you’ll try your hand at pistol shooting – can you play a tune by hitting the tubular bells in the correct order?  Finally, to push your newfound skills to the limit, you’ll have a go on the moving target air rifle range. During these activities you’ll be using three different types of guns.
