All tickets are sold subject to availability and subject to these Terms & Conditions.
Ice Skating is a sport, and like all sports, carries a degree of risk for the participants. Ice is a slippery surface and slips and falls do occur. The sport of skating is something that you freely engage in and undertake entirely at your own risk. The skater acknowledges that ice is a very slippery surface and, depending upon individual skill and experience level, Ice Skating may involve falls upon the ice, collisions with other skaters, objects, or structures, and therefore be considered a hazardous activity, which the skater has elected to voluntarily participate, with full knowledge, acceptance, and assumption of any and all risks of serious personal injury, death or property damage. The Promoter / Management will not be responsible, however incurred, for all injury, accidents, and loss, however incurred by the skater.
Purchase of any ticket constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Upon purchase, please check accuracy of Ticket Information as mistakes cannot always be rectified after purchase.
The Promoter reserves the right to refuse admission to the ice rink and/or the venue and shall be entitled to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of all visitors.
The Management reserves the right to refuse admission in reasonable circumstances including, without limitation, for health and safety, licence restrictions or where a ticket is void. The Management reserves the right to remove any ticket holder from the ice rink, without refund, on reasonable grounds including, without limitation, where the ticket holder breaches these Terms and Conditions, disrupts other visitors' enjoyment, or does anything that the Management considers to be unacceptable behaviour which may cause damage, nuisance, or injury.
Visitors must comply with instructions and directions given by ice rink, and those below;
Skaters are NOT PERMITTED to use Mobile Phones, Cameras, Airpods, Headphones, Earpods, or any electronic device whilst on the ice.
Skaters are NOT PERMITTED to take on the ice loose items such as, Bags, Handbags, Carrier Babs, Ruck Sacks or any other loose items. All loose items must be left with a non-skater or checked in to the Cloakroom.
Skaters MUST abide by the rules of the rink and not speed skate, skate in chains, damage the ice or rink equipment, display horseplay or aggressive skating.
Skate Aids:
There are a limited number of skate aids available to rent on a first come first serve basis. A) Penguins will only be supplied to skaters under 1.2M or 4’ tall. Height restrictions apply.
b) Seals do not have a hight restriction but MUST be used by two skaters at all times.
Visitors consent to filming and sound recording as visitors. The local authority may use such films and recordings (including any copies) without payment to visitors.
CCTV is in operation at the ice rink and is audio and images are recorded and retained in line with GDPR guidelines.
Smoking (including electronic cigarettes or vapes) is not permitted anywhere within the Ice Rink. Eating and drinking are not permitted on the ice or within toilet and changing facilities.
If ticket holders have any special requirements or concerns about any special effects (for example lighting or sound effects) which may be featured as part of the attraction or event, prior notice should be provided.
A Cloakroom facility is available for all skaters to leave loose items, clothing, bags etc. All items left in our cloakroom is left entirely at your own risk.
Shoes left at our Skate Exchange are left at your own risk and management take no responsibility for loss or damage to items left.
We recommend that participants should wear suitably fitting protective equipment including helmets gloves wrist guards and protective pads in the interest of protecting their safety.
All tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
Tickets cannot be resold, exchanged, refunded, or transferred. To do so or to alter or deface any ticket will render it void. It is the patron’s responsibility to check his or her tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
The Promoter will not be responsible for any tickets which are lost or stolen.
Tickets obtained in breach of these Terms and Conditions shall be null and void and the Management may refuse to admit such ticket holder into the ice rink. Any person seeking to use such a void or fraudulent ticket to gain or provide entry will be considered to be a trespasser and will be ejected and liable to legal action. Void tickets are non-refundable.
It is your responsibility to inform Visit Leicester of any change to the contact address, telephone number or email address you provide it with at the time of ticket purchase.
The ticket holder has a right only to a session of the value corresponding to that stated on the ticket.
Except to the extent that the Management is required or permitted by law, personal information provided by you to the Management will be used for all purposes reasonably connected with the operations of the ice rink including (but not limited to): supplying you with the goods that you request and transferring or disclosing the information provided to the Management's professional advisors and such other parties as it considers necessary in the administration of its business. The Management will not use or disclose your personal information to any other party or for any other reason other than as set out in these Terms and Conditions without your prior consent. If you have any queries about this, please write to the Management.
The skating session will start at the advertised time. Please ensure that you arrive at least 30 minutes before your session time.
Each skating session is normally 45 minutes long. Ticket holders will not be permitted to continue skating once their allocated session is over.
The Promoter reserves the right to close the ice rink if necessary and the Promoters decision is final.
In the event any session is cancelled or curtailed, refunds will only be given if such cancellation or curtailment occurs after less than 30 minutes of skating time has taken place and there is no availability for any remaining valid alternative sessions.
Participating in Ice skating carries an inherent risk; any participation is totally at the users own risk. Anyone with any medical conditions, serious previous injuries, recently broken bones, knee or joint problems, head injuries, pregnancy, mobility problems, or taking prescribed drugs should carefully consider whether it is safe for them to participant without endangering themselves or other participants whilst skating. The Promoter shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage however caused.
The Management will not be responsible for any loss, theft or damage of ticket holders' personal belongings, other than caused as a result of the negligence or other breach of statutory duty of the Management. Any such liability shall be limited to the reasonable cost of either replacing or repairing such property (subject to fair wear and tear). Please ensure that no bags or other items of personal property are left unattended anywhere in the ice rink.
Please note children who cannot walk by themselves are not permitted on the ice, children 3 years and over but under 14 years old must be accompanied on the ice by a parent or guardian who is 16 years or over. A ratio of 1 adult to 4 children will be accepted.
Skaters aged 15 – 16 years old, must be supervised by either a skating or non-skating parent or guardian.
In the event of any conflict between these terms and conditions and the terms and conditions imposed by any ticket agency, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, "Force Majeure" means any cause beyond Our control including, without limitation, act of God, war, insurrection, riot, civil disturbances, acts of terrorism, fire, explosion, flood, theft, malicious damage, strike, lock out, weather, third party injunction, national defence requirements, acts or regulations of national or local governments. The Management will not be liable to you for failure to perform any obligation under these Terms and Conditions to the extent that the failure is caused by Force Majeure.
