Locally for Hinckley and Bosworth there is a Blue Plaque Scheme linking notable figures of the past to locations within the borough. There are several trails dedicated to this, the ‘Rural heritage trail for Hinckley & Bosworth’, and one dedicated to Hinckley the ‘Hinckley History Trail’.
