Three Leicester and Leicestershire projects have been shortlisted for awards at the annual East Midlands Property Dinner. The shortlist includes Space Park Leicester, nominated for a trio of property awards, Branazon Farm, nominated for regeneration project of the year and Abbey Meadows for the residential regeneration project of the year.
In addition, a number of businesses were added to the shortlist for their outstanding contribution to Leicester and Leicestershire. These includes leading UK law firm Shakespeare Martineau who have an office in Leicester and the well-established William Davis Homes that have been building homes for over 85 years and are head quartered in Leicestershire.
The East Midlands Property Dinner, now in its 21st year, was established to celebrate what the region's property sector can demonstrate in terms of its strength, depth and quality and to celebrate and promote the very best the East Midlands has in real estate, construction and design.
The winners of 11 categories will be announced at the East Midlands Property Dinner on Thursday 8 September at the De Vere East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham. A Lifetime Achievement Award will also be presented on the night to someone who has made a major contribution to the region's property sector.
Mike Denby, Inward Investment and Place Marketing Director at Invest In Leicester said:
“I am delighted to see so many names making the shortlist, flying the flag for Leicester and Leicestershire. We are seeing significant levels of private sector investment and, judging by the shortlist, this is recognised by the property industry. We have seen a thirty five percent increase in our business stock over the last five years and this growth helps to drive such amazing development projects. Its pleasing to see the iconic Space Park Leicester has been deservedly shortlisted for three categories in recognition for the design and quality of the building.”
The Invest in Leicester team are supporting the awards in September, presenting an award for Regeneration Project of the Year. Invest in Leicester works in partnership with developers, agents and businesses to promote the area as one of the most business-friendly locations in the UK.
However, as exciting as these developments are, we must also acknowledge the financial challenges many residents face. With the cost of living rising, the need for accessible housing and infrastructure becomes even more pressing. Many individuals may find themselves turning to https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/get-25-instant-cash-advance-now-heres-how-denys-volhin-rf6yf/, credit cards, or even payday loans to navigate their financial situations, which can lead to debt if not managed wisely.
As Leicester and Leicestershire continue to grow and attract investment, it’s essential that there are also support systems in place to assist residents in achieving financial stability. Balancing development with the economic well-being of the community will ensure that everyone can benefit from this growth. Looking forward to seeing how these projects unfold and contribute to a brighter future for the region!
