An inspiring afternoon class for anyone who is proficient in all hand building techniques and a desire to express yourself through clay. Challenge yourself with guided projects set by tutor Dee with the freedom to create and develop your own ideas.
This 10-week course is suitable for those with at least two years experience and who are fairly confident and proficient at working with clay. It can also be completed as a follow-on from our Beginners Hand Building course.
Tutor and full-time potter Dee Barnes has taught pottery for over 40 years and produces her own distinct ceramics from her home studio in Grantham. She sells her work online, with several independent galleries, and at ceramics fairs upand down the country.
All materials will be provided. Please bring an apron with you if you wish to – pottery can get messy!
This 10-week course will run on Tuesdays 1-4pm, beginning on Tuesday 14 January and ending on 18 March 2025.
Participants must be aged 18+.
Please ensure that you agree to our updatedTerms & Conditions before booking as courses/workshops are non-refundable in some circumstances.
