No need to book just rock up for an adrenaline pumping climbing experience at Social Climbing rock climbing gym, Leicester’s largest indoor climbing centre. Known as bouldering, the activity involves climbing without ropes up to a height of 4.5 metres. It’s all perfectly safe (soft crash mats to cushion your falls) and loads of fun. Full safety briefings are given before you start heading onward and upward.
This is a fantastic alternative to the gym and great for overall fitness, building both strength and stamina. Bouldering gets the blood and adrenaline pumping helping you to destress and forget all those things that really drive you up the wall. Social Climbing also offers a brilliant social space with areas to chill out and chat or challenge others to a game of table football.
The activity is suitable for the whole family, with children over 5s very welcome, but please check the website for specific advice regarding all under 18s.
Equipment can be rented including climbing shoes and chalk. For Introduction to Climbing, Beginners and Improver Classes, refer to website. Suitable for Beginners
