Let your inner culture vulture loose in Leicester and discover some amazing art exhibitions and collections.

The place to go for contemporary visual arts is the Attenborough Arts Centre where you can make and see art. The exhibitions change throughout the year and often include free lectures, debates, tours and family workshops.

Alternatively head to the Leicester Museum and Art Gallery, which first opened its doors to the public in 1849 and houses collections and displays spanning the natural and cultural world.  It’s a family day out where you can enjoy dinosaurs, Egyptian mummies, Victorian art, Picasso ceramics, The Attenborough Collection of modern and contemporary art and collection of German Expressionism.

LCB Depot offers a lively programme of events throughout the year and hosts art exhibitions and creative residences in its gallery Lightbox.
