The Anne of Cleves is a beautiful, family run pub nestled at the heart of the market town of Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire.

This charming 14th Century pub & beautiful beer garden lie under the watchful eye of St. Mary’s Church on Burton Street. Not only is this pub beautiful, it is steeped in history, with many a tale to tell.

First built in 1384 as a dwelling for priests who ministered to lepers at Burton Lazars hospital, it was gifted to Anne of Cleves as part of her divorce settlement in 1540. The pub has a superb walled garden and serves traditional pub food and cask ales.
