You can hear Loughborough around the world in the peal of church bells from St Paul’s Cathedral to Australia. Take a tour of the UK’s last working bell foundry and hear John Taylor and Co bells, which have rung out at the end of world wars, royal marriages and the start of rock group AC/DC’s albums.
Since 1859, the Loughborough Bellfoundry has cast more than 25,000 bells that are hung in over 100 countries around the world.
The site also houses and facilitates artisan skill and historic manufacturing processes which are unparalleled in our current age.
