Step back in time and uncover the secrets of Roman Leicester at Jewry Wall: A Real Roman Experience, opening Saturday 26 July.

This exciting new attraction brings the ancient world to life right in the heart of the city, where visitors can explore one of the largest surviving Roman bath house sites in the UK, beautifully integrated into a striking, contemporary museum setting.

Discover over 100 fascinating Roman artefacts, all unearthed in Leicester and Leicestershire, and brought together for the first time. With cutting-edge digital technology, immersive films and interactive displays, you’ll experience Roman Leicester as never before – from bustling bath houses to life in the 2nd century city of Ratae Corieltauvorum.

Marvel at the museum’s architectural transformation, with glass walls offering stunning views of the ancient ruins, and a brand-new pedestrian bridge from St Nicholas Circle making access easier than ever. Inside, local artist Scott Tetlow’s vivid characterisations of Roman citizens help paint a vivid picture of daily life nearly 2,000 years ago.
