Flying in a glider is a completely unique method of flight. The First Flight Experiences are aimed at those with little or no experience of flying and just want to enjoy the scenery and the magic of silent flight. They provide an introduction to the delights and sensations of flying in a glider or motor glider as an ideal ‘taster’.  

If you are more interested in learning to fly a glider then the best place to begin your journey is with a glider introductory lesson. A BGA qualified Instructor will take you for your flight(s) after a safety briefing. 

Height and weight restrictions apply to this activity and you must be capable of climbing into the glider and not suffer from any illness likely to cause a sudden change in your condition (such as epilepsy). Please call the office should you have any concerns or special requirements.
