Do a dairy-themed round of adventure golf on a farm that also makes its own ice-cream.
Ferneley's is a family run dairy farm based outside the Rural Capital of Food, Melton Mowbray. In addition to its fields of dairy cows and sheep, the farm makes its own ice-cream, has a café and farm shop and even a 9-hole adventure golf course.
Each hole on the course, each individually named, is themed around farming including Pig Swill Fly and Hole Ya Horses.
If young golf enthusiasts have energy left to burn after a round, there is also a play area with outdoor patio seating and indoor café for those wanting to sample some of Ferneley’s fabulous homemade ice-cream or even order an afternoon tea.
