The good news is that there are some excellent schools and colleges in Leicester and Leicestershire, more than 600 across the county. They are highly inclusive, offer excellent provision and are all committed to raising achievement for children and young people. 

The region has everything a parent could hope for, with special educational provision embedded into most schools. Leicester and Leicestershire is also home to some of the country’s best private schools, enrolling pupils of high school age, some with provision for primary and nursery schools as well.
