The Enderby Logistics Hub is aiming to create a new centre of excellence for the logistics industry by creating up to 106,568 m² (1,147,088 ft²) of new warehouse and distribution space and a Logistics Training Centre.
The development will be situated in a prime logistics and employment location benefitting from excellent connectivity, within 1.5 miles of the M1/M69 interchange.
The proposals represent a major investment in the local economy and will create over 1,500 new jobs with the proposed new Logistics Training Centre providing opportunities for local people to develop skills and specialisms in the sector to make Leicester and Leicestershire a focus for this fast-growing sector.
