plans for expansion of leicestershire’s mercia park have been approved.
The site, which is located in North West Leicestershire near junction 11 of the M42, is already home to JLR’s Global Logistics Centre and global transport and logistics company DSV. More that 2,500 peeple are employed on the site and the new expansion, made up of two development zones, is expected to create another 1,000 to 1,720 jobs once fully operational.
Development Zone 1 and 2 comprise approximately 611,000 sq ft and 442,000 sq ft of employment space respectively.
Mercia Park has demonstrated that it is a leading location for business with excellent transport links and net zero-ready buildings all within a high quality landscaped setting.
