Zombie Met Girl, The Spike Direction Effect, The Army Of Skanks
Zombie Met Girl take their influences from the 70s U.S. garage punk scene (The Ramones, The Cramps The Dead Kennedys, The Stooges) but have a style all of their own making.
Their lyrics are different, like something out of the best 1960s sci-fi/horror movies! Their songs get lodged in your brain like a rusty steel spike! Their sound is punk with a difference! Live, they never fail! Nick is dynamic as the front man with Frazer, Tim and Steve as the pounding force behind! They never leave a stage without the crowd wanting more!
The Spike Direction
This band got me with one video ! and i was hooked. The best way to describe them is psychobilly adjacent garage/blues. Its epic stuff.
The Army Of Skanks
And returning to Duffy's is Coventry punksters The Army Of Skanks who always go down well. The Army Of Skanks are a female-fronted alternative/punk 'n' roll 4-piece from Coventry. Punk Rock Warrior Women with their man whippet on drums.
