The Archaeology of Tudor and Stuart Leicestershire and Rutland
A series of 6 lectures on the archaeology of Tudor and Stuart Leicestershire and Rutland by Peter Liddle – former County Archaeologist for Leicestershire - on Thursdays from 2 – 4pm at Leicester’s historic Guildhall.
This is a period that takes society from the end of the medieval period to the eve of the industrial revolution.
Prior booking is useful but not essential. Attend the whole course or come to individual lectures.

April 30th: Big houses and gardens
May 7th: Villages and fields
May 14th: Leicester and the market towns
May 21st: Industry, trade and communications
