Tango Libre – Argentine Tango Lessons and Freestyle

Tango Libre Leicester is a joyful, community-led Argentine tango night where dancers of all levels come together to learn, connect, and explore. Whether you're brand new to tango or already passionate about the dance, you’ll find a supportive, friendly atmosphere focused on expression rather than perfection.

Each evening begins with two inclusive classes — one for absolute beginners and one for improvers — followed by a relaxed freestyle session with music that ranges from traditional tango to alternative tracks and genre blends. The space is open, welcoming, and inclusive, with experienced dancers often mentoring those just starting out.

Tango Libre isn’t just about dance — it’s also about purpose. All proceeds support BPD UK, a national mental health charity that helps families care for loved ones living with Borderline Personality Disorder.
