Sigmund Floyd – Experience 70s Pink Floyd

27th November
The Sue Townsend Theatre, Upper Brown Street, Leicester, LE1 5TE

Sigmund Floyd take audiences back to Pink Floyd in the 1970s! A period that produced some of the most important music in the bands history.
Rather than relying on lasers, elaborate props or modern production gimmicks, Sigmund Floyd put the focus exactly where it should be: the music.
The look, the playing, the vocals and the sound are all rooted in the Floyd of the 1970s, with particular focus on the Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall era.
Even the bands appearance feels right for the period. This isnt about recreating the huge stadium productions that came later. Its about capturing Pink Floyd as a band five musicians on stage recreating those records with remarkable attention to detail.
Close your eyes and the aim is simple: it should sound like the album.
For Floyd fans who never had the chance to experience the band during the 1970s, Sigmund Floyd offer something different.
No gimmicks. No unnecessary spectacle.
Just the sound, look and atmosphere of 1970s Pink Floyd.
