Shaparak Khorsandi

21st February
Leicester Cathedral, 7 Peacock Lane, Leicester, LE1 5DE

Shaparak Khorsandi established herself as one of the UK’s finest comedians with her sell-out Edinburgh show, Asylum Speaker. Despite the basis for the show being her experiences as a child refugee fleeing Iran, Shaparak’s sensitive yet witty exploration of these events creates an instant comedy hit.

Shaparak will be supported by Esther Manito who won the Best Show Award at the 2021 Leicester Comedy Festival. Doors open an hour before the show starts. There will be a bar to purchase refreshments and toilets are available on site. Seats are unallocated and first come first serve in the band.
