Seven Red Lions Presents: Independent Noise

We're excited to be bringing together five independent bands for a night of alternative music at Firebug, Leicester.

From shoegaze and indie rock to grunge, punk and alternative rock, this is a lineup built around artists we're genuinely excited to share a stage with.

Opening the night are Leicester shoegazers Canvas Tile, blending dreamy melodies with loud, immersive guitars. They'll be followed by fellow Leicester outfit Marnie's Girl, whose darker take on indie rock has been making waves across the local scene.

Next up are Juliettes, a heavy-funk-punk power trio known for absurdly intense grooves, wild energy and wailing solos that can turn any room upside down.

Making the trip from Nottingham, Hex Poseur brings a unique mix of grunge, stoner rock, garage rock, riot grrrl attitude and gothic horror aesthetics. Led by Harri Bettsworth, they've built a dedicated following on the UK's underground rock circuit through relentless gigging and a stream of independent releases.

Closing the night are Seven Red Lions. Formed by musicians from Portugal, Mexico, Venezuela and Sweden and now based in London, we've spent the last decade building our own path through the independent music scene. Our sound combines atmospheric guitars, punk energy and anthemic hooks, and we're looking forward to bringing our live show back to Leicester alongside a brilliant lineup of bands.
