
Railway 200 Open Weekend
The Great Central Railway is stepping back in time on the 5th & 6th July for their Railway 200 Open Weekend. This special weekend is part of the national celebration of 200 years of rail travel in the UK.
Celebrate by riding through railway history across six incredible heritage sites between GCR and GCRN at the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre, connected by steam trains and vintage heritage buses.
This exciting weekend is packed with family fun, historical discovery, and hands-on experiences — the perfect day out for rail fans of all ages. Five locations and just one ticket for an amazing family day out!
