Rachmaninov Vespers Choral Concert
Viva la Musica chamber choir will perform the awe-inspiring Rachmaninov Vespers at this concert in candlelight. This beautiful music will be interspersed with poetry read by the Right Reverend Rowan Williams. The piece is considered one of Rachmaninov's greatest works and is sometimes called the All Night Vigil - but don't worry, the concert is around an hour and a half in length!
Viva la Musica are excited to present this concert, following their recent acclaimed performance of pieces by Tavener and Taverner at All Saints Church Loughborough.
Booking is strongly advised due to limited availability. Tickets can be obtained through the choir website vivalamusica.org.uk and you can hear recordings of their recent work on YouTube (see link provided).
