Leicester-based Musicamici celebrate their 41st anniversary this year with several of the founder members still playing. The members also play in the Bardi Wind Orchestra and many other local ensembles. Over the 40+ years Musicamici have performed at local and national venues, won awards at music festivals and held concerts raising many hundreds of pounds for local charities including Rainbows, LOROS, HOPE and the Leicester Bone Bank. They will, as ever, perform an eclectic programme of music and we can expect a range of well-known and beloved classical pieces as well as lighter music including some jazzy numbers.
