Leicester-based Musicamici celebrate their 40th anniversary this year with several of the founder members still playing.The members also play in the Bardi Wind Orchestra and many other local ensembles.

Over the 40 years Musicamici have performed at local and national venues, won awards at music festivals and held concerts raising many hundreds of pounds for local charities including Rainbows, LOROS, HOPE and the Leicester Bone Bank.

The programme will include: Preludium by Jarnefelt, The Girl with the Flaxen Hair by Debussy, Holst Suite No.2 for winds, Ave Verum Corpus by Mozart and lighter music including a jazzy suite on nautical themes, Turkey in the Straw and music from Mamma Mia!
