MJ Hibbett: Data and Doctor Doom

7th February
King Richard III Visitor Centre, 4A St Martins, Leicester, LE1 5DB

Indie legend MJ Hibbett - the world's leading (and only) academic expert on Doctor Doom - presents a musical adaptation of his PhD thesis on Marvel's next big baddie (yes, that makes him a Doctor of Doctor Doom). He'll use songs, slides, jokes and a unified catalogue of transmedia character components to explain how all fictional characters can be understood with stats, why on earth you'd want to do that, and, most importantly of all, why Doctor Doom is better than Batman.
