Meet The Author at Sapcote Community Library

Meet the Author, Gillian Kitson-Rowntree - suitable for all age groups.

Gillian's beautifully illustrated colouring storybooks have been enjoyed by families for many years. With books for school aged children and adults, the stories are complemented by creative colouring activities that also appeal to parents, carers and older siblings, making the sessions ideal for family engagement.

To celebrate the National Year of Reading, each session includes:

* Interactive readings of Gillian's original stories.
* A creative colouring competition inspired by the stories.
* Stationery goody bags and a signed storybook for competition winners.
* The opportunity for children and families to meet a local author, encouraging a love of reading, creativity and imagination.

Families who wish to can also purchase signed copies of Gillian's books and related stationery after the session.

Please note - tickets must be booked for the adults planning to attend as well as children.
