We warmly invite you to join us for our annual Light Up a Life event on Sunday 6th December – a special time to come together and remember those who hold a unique place in our hearts.
The service begins at 4.30pm with time for reflection and readings. This year, you may wish to purchase a lantern in advance and decorate it at home with photos, messages, and personal touches in memory of your loved one.
Bring your decorated lantern with you to the service, where you will be invited to light an LED candle inside. As the lanterns are lit together, they will create a beautiful moment of unity and shared light for all the loved ones we hold close and miss dearly.
You are welcome to arrive from 3pm on the day to visit our chapel, hang a star on the tree and see your loved one’s name in the Book of Remembrance.
There will also be a memory mailbox where you can write a Christmas card or note to a loved one. It’s a very special and meaningful way to express your thoughts and memories.
As evening falls, you will be able to view the wonderful Christmas tree with its lights shining bright for all those no longer with us.
