Leicester Music Conference

27th February
The Venue @ Dmu, Western Boulevard, Leicester, LE2 7BU

Professor Green - the multi platinum artist and mental health advocate - will be performing at the Leicester Music Conference.

The London rapper and musician uses his personal experience to raise awareness of mental health, a key subject the conference is also exploring this year.

Sharing a stage at the evening showcase will be Zdot, Gemma Fox, the South Asian Showcase with Brown is Everywhere; Desi Trill; Queen Millz and the HQ Familia Show with more to be announced.

Designed as a snapshot of the region’s grassroots ecosystem, the showcase brings together emerging, developing and established artists across multiple genres, giving local acts the chance to share a platform with bigger names, build connections and create real progression opportunities.

The conference programme will include a significant focus on South Asian music pathways, reflecting the fact that 43 percent of the city's population is Asian.

On the panel will be the co-founder of Desi Trill and member of the influential So Solid Crew.

The conference opens with a keynote address from Myn Jazeel, Co-Chair - MOBO Trust, Chair - Music Against Racism, Artist Manager, ex-SVP Warner Music.
